Feature/Cover Story

An in-depth feature examining how definitions of love and family are evolving at West High. I conducted interviews with the Jensen-Fitzpatrick family, researched legal and cultural context, and created an accompanying infographic to visualize nontraditional family structures. My work focused on highlighting diverse perspectives and the impact of societal acceptance on students’ understanding of family and love.

Opinion

An opinion piece examining how the American dream has evolved from post-World War II expectations of homeownership, stable wages and suburban life to the challenges faced by modern generations and immigrants. I researched historical trends, synthesized economic and cultural data, and created an infographic to represent the changing social and financial landscape.
